Plant
Pathology specialization was one of the major specializations of Department of
Agricultural Botany since the
establishment of the faculty in 1950 . Department
of Plant Pathology was born from the vagina As for postgraduate studies
, hundreds have received the M.S. or Ph.D. degrees in the Field of Plant
Pathology since the establishment
of our faculty
. All
these implementations were due to the capable leadership of Prof. Dr. W.E.
Ashour and Prof. Dr. A.R. sirri
, God
be merciful to them . Through education, research, and
extension, our Department is a major contributor to plant pathology and the
application of the science toward improved agricultural production systems in
Egypt . Currently, the Department has 2 7
faculty members, , 4 emeritus professor , 8 professor ,
3 associate professor , 5 assistant professor ,
2 assistant
lecturers , 4 demonstrators .
